GUITAR LESSONS

Learning guitar should feel like making music, not slogging through years of boring theory or nursery rhymes.

Our lessons are designed for students who want to play real songs, build confidence, and enjoy the process from day one.

What Makes Our Guitar Lessons Different

  • Song-First Approach: You’ll start with cool, recognisable songs that keep you inspired to practice. As your skills grow, we introduce theory only when it’s relevant to what you’re playing, so it makes sense and feels useful.

  • Enjoyable, Step-by-Step Learning:  Building physical skills takes time, so we make sure every lesson feels rewarding. You’ll experience small wins every week, which builds momentum and confidence.

  • Teachers Who Get You: Our guitar teachers are carefully chosen for their musicianship, personality, and ability to connect with students. It’s important to “vibe” with your teacher — and with a varied team, you’ll have options if your schedule ever changes.

  • Real Musicians, Real Mentors: You won’t just learn chords and riffs, you’ll be mentored by professional gigging musicians who share real-world experience and inspire you to explore your potential.

  • Performance Opportunities: Students who want to perform can take part in concerts and events. These are a fun way to celebrate progress, build stage confidence, and share music with family and friends.

  • Tailored to You: Whether you’re learning for leisure, working toward AMEB exams, or preparing for school or university music programs, we’ll match lessons to your goals and pace.

What We Teach

You’ll learn to:

  • Play chords, riffs, finger-picking and strumming patterns

  • Read tablature (TAB) for melody and riffs

  • Learn to read basic notation (Only if you want to. This is NOT how contemporary guitar music is normally written.)

  • Develop rhythm, technique, and finger coordination

  • Play along with backing tracks and jam with others

  • Build a repertoire of your favourite rock, pop, and contemporary songs

Lesson Options

Choose from:

  • Private Lessons: 30, 45, or 60 minutes

  • Semi-Private Lessons: 30 minutes (perfect for siblings, friends, or family)

All lessons are held at our home studio in Winthrop, WA.

We specialise in teaching beginners through advanced players and offer daytime and evening lessons for adults and home-schooled children. Lessons are available Monday to Saturday.

Book A Trial Lesson

It's important you find the right teacher and studio when learning music. You're welcome to book a paid trial lesson to meet your teacher, try out the instrument and get a feel for if you would like to continue learning before committing to purchasing an instrument and booking into term lessons.
