UKULELE LESSONS

The ukulele is a legitimate instrument in its own right, not just a stepping stone to guitar. Its chord shapes and strumming patterns are interchangeable with guitar, making it both versatile and fun to learn. Whether you’ve never played an instrument before or want to branch out from guitar, the ukulele offers a musical challenge at any level, from mellow strumming to intricate fingerpicking.

It’s portable, social, and perfect for camping trips, caravans, or casual jam sessions. Many adults who join our lessons are ticking off a bucket-list item, and love the instant joy of making music while learning a real instrument. Western Australia is home to many social ukulele groups, giving students plenty of opportunities to play with others and join the wider uke community.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll learn to:

Adult Group Classes

Our adult group classes are fun, relaxed, and social. You’ll meet other ukulele enthusiasts, learn together, and play songs as a group. These classes are ideal if you’ve never played an instrument before or want to branch out from another instrument. They’re a great way to tick a bucket-list item, stay motivated, and enjoy the social side of music.

Currently we run a classes on a Wednesday morning, please contact us for availability and up-to-date times. 

Lesson Options

• Private Lessons: 30, 45, or 60 minutes

• Semi-Private Lessons: 30 or 45 minutes (For two students: great for siblings, friends, or family)

• Adult Group Classes: Wednesday sessions for beginners and intermediate players

All lessons are held at our home studio in Winthrop, WA. We teach children from 6+ and adults of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Lessons are available Monday to Saturday.
