CURRENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Term 1 (going forward) :  Saturday morning teaching shift from 9am (4.5 hrs)

Term 1 (going forward) :  Saturday afternoon teaching shift from 1:30pm (4.5 hrs)

Term 2 (going forward): Monday and Thursday afternoon teaching shift from 3pm (5 hrs) 

Relief Teaching: Monday - Friday from 3pm and Saturday from 9am  (as required)


 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for some more wonderful people to join our team of inspiring, funny, professional and talented teachers!

We looking for great PEOPLE... not just great musicians.

If you're a clear communicator, kind, patient, humble, reliable, talented and can teach creatively, then we want to hear from you.

You must have reliable transport, current Working With Children Check and impeccable time management skills (you must turn up on time for lessons).


WHAT WE WILL DO FOR YOU

We value and respect your time and work hard to fill your teaching schedule with fantastic students, no gaps and regular hours.

You'll be paid for "no shows" as we don't expect you to come to work without being compensated.

All the admin is taken care of for you. You'll not need to market yourself, collect payments, book in students or organise reschedules. Just turn up and teach music!

Teachers are paid on time, automatically each Thursday. Competitive rate of pay.

We pride our self as offering fun and relaxed work environment for teachers and students. We provide you with chocolates/Easter Eggs to give to your students at the end of each term and we make sure you're also full of chocolate!

We're a close-knit team who love to celebrate each term with staff parties and get-togethers!

Our current teachers have worked with us for years and report that this is the best studio they've worked with. That is because the business runs smoothly, the students are great, their time is respected and they're made to feel at home.


WHO WE ARE

Alison Glew Guitar and Ukulele School is a home based studio in Winthrop, WA and we pride ourselves in providing a close, friendly relationship with our teachers and students.

We provide 150+ students a week a family friendly, safe and comfortable environment to learn contemporary guitar and ukulele with 7 professional teachers.

We also provide school holiday programs, adult ukulele workshops and online courses.

Most of our teachers are either professional musicians or University students or graduates from WAAPA.

We have comfortable studio rooms and modern scheduling systems so students receive reminder emails and SMS's (limiting missed lessons), plus you can see exactly when and who your teaching ahead of time, view previous lesson notes and send parents practice plans.
